Breaking news, Eddie Kone is pleased to announce the first of our Iphone / Android App’s .

Eddie Kone (born February 1974, a Native of Cuba) is a Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Head Instructor and Owner of the EKBJJ Association. He started training Jiu-Jitsu when he was 22 years old after watching Royce Gracie compete in the first UFC.

In August 1997, Eddie made the first of many visits to Rio de Janeiro Brazil to pursue his career in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There,Eddie began his training under Royler Gracie, at the legendary Gracie Humaitá.

Eddie continued to travel back and forth to Brazil, he also continued his training back in London under then BJJ Purple belt Marc Walder. Royler Gracie awarded Eddie his Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu 12 years later (June 6th 2008), Making Eddie Royler’s first European Black Belt.

Today, Eddie Kone is a sort instructor who travels the world spreading his knowledge of the art and Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle. In December 2008 Eddie founded the EKBJJ Association.

The association has grown and currently has 11 academies spread throughout the world, with many students under the “EKBJJ Association” banner. During the time Eddie has spent teaching, he has been involved in training: UFC fighter Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley, W.E.C Fighter Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett

Cage Rage/Ultimate Challenge fighter:Marcin (Doktor) Barcovitch, Sami ‘The Hun’ Berik, Brad Wheeler & John Kelly, to name a few. Eddie Kone Also heads up his own professional MMA fight team,Bloodline Fight Team

Eddie has teamed up with British film Director / and BAFTA Winner Paul Shamiason to bring you cutting Edge visuals and awesome techniques.

Volume 1 will consist of invaluable Techniques covering all aspects from mount control, submissions , counters and escapes and also bonus material on concepts , theory and jiu jitsu lifestyle.

This App is a must for all bjj practioners from white belt to black belt with the emphasis on Details.

The App also focuses on how to avoid being caught in the worst possible positions and also how to counter those positions.

A demo of the APP will be circulating for reviews very soon before it goes into the App store’s, There may also be a free lite version of the App in circulation.
